Requesting a rating is the primary way to grow your WorkScore. Everything lives in one place — the Request Ratings page.
Finding coworkers to request from
Your verified coworker network is already populated when you join. Browse your suggestions, search by name, or filter by company to find the colleagues you want to hear from. Focus on people you worked closely with — teammates, project collaborators, direct managers or reports. Quality matters more than quantity.
Sending a request
When you find someone, you have three ways to send your request:
- Via WorkScore — we notify them directly through the platform and by email, based on their notification preferences
- Via LinkedIn message — opens a pre-drafted message you can send directly from LinkedIn
- Copy link — copies your request link so you can send it yourself through any channel you choose
With any option, you can add a personalized message before sending — though this is entirely optional.
Can't find who you're looking for?
If a coworker isn't in your WorkScore network yet, tap Can't find them? This opens a simple modal with your personal link and suggestions for how to share it — via LinkedIn, SMS, email, or wherever you naturally communicate with them. Once they join WorkScore and their work history is verified, if they rate you it will count toward your score.
No limits — but we do monitor for abuse
There's no cap on the number of requests you can send. That said, WorkScore monitors for abuse and reserves the right to restrict this feature for users who misuse it. Requests should reflect genuine professional relationships — not volume for its own sake.
