Once you send a request, WorkScore takes it from there.
What the recipient sees
Your request appears on the recipient's Requests Received page — a dedicated section of WorkScore where they can manage all incoming requests. If they've opted into activity notifications, they'll also receive an email letting them know a request is waiting.
From there, it's up to them. They can rate you, skip, or dismiss the request at their own pace.
Will I know if they rated me?
No — and this is intentional. You won't be notified whether your request was seen, acted on, or dismissed. Anonymity works both ways. Removing the feedback loop protects the rater's honesty and ensures ratings reflect genuine professional opinions, not social obligation.
What if I sent the request via LinkedIn or copied the link?
The same anonymity applies regardless of how the request was delivered. If the recipient clicks through and rates you, it counts toward your WorkScore — but you'll never know if or when that happened.
Can I cancel a request I've already sent?
Once a request is sent it can't be recalled. If you sent one by mistake, the best approach is to let it be — the recipient can always dismiss it on their end.
