A custom WorkScore URL is a short, personalized link you can create to share your WorkScore. Instead of a long automatically generated link, you choose a unique handle that becomes your permanent WorkScore address.
Why it exists
Your standard WorkScore URL is long by design — its length makes it impossible to guess, keeping your score private until you choose to share it. But a long URL looks out of place on a resume or LinkedIn profile. A custom URL solves that — clean, professional, and easy to share anywhere.
How it works
Custom URLs are unique across WorkScore — no two users can have the same one. Once you claim a custom URL it’s yours permanently and cannot be changed. You can deactivate it at any time, but the handle will never be reassigned to another user.
The rules
- Between 3 and 30 characters
- Letters and numbers only — the only special characters allowed are
.and- - Must be unique — if someone else has already claimed it, you’ll need to choose something different
- Cannot be changed once set
Is it required?
No — your standard URL is always available and works for everything. A custom URL is optional and worth creating if you want a cleaner link for professional use.
